| School has started, but not for me. I am stuck in a cubical all day long, typing away at the computer. I feel like my life is so boring, and I never have time to do anything fun! The transition from college to working is so hard!
I went to school during my lunch break today, and got to see Danny and then went to the business division to say hi. At least Danny is still there so I feel connected somehow.
Last night was quite an adventurous night- thanks to Danny. I was driving past the soccer field, and saw him walking back to his dorm, so i called out to him- he turned around, and had a gash under his eye. He calmly told me he was going to the emergency room to get stiches. Ouch! So I took him there- I think I was worse than he was! It didn't bother him at all (or maybe he was just being a tough guy). I think he looks like Rocky now, with the cut under his eye. It looks good today- it didn't even turn black and blue.
This weekend my sister is coming down to visit me! It'll be so nice to see her again.
Well, back to work!

| I've never posted so consistently as I have since I started my new job. Kinda funny. Not much has happened in my life. This past weekend I had some friends in town so I got to hang out with them, and on Sunday night I went to R&R which is just a gathering of young adults from College Church. That was fun!! I'm defintely going to that again!
Tomorrow I get to go to Grease with Danny at Starlight, and we're going out for dinner before!! I'm super excited- I have a date!! lol
Work has gotten better for me- I am working in the logistics department, which is very complicated, but enjoyable. I am more busy than before, but still find myself with nothing to do. (like now)
Only a few more weeks till I move!! Anybody want to help?? I am super excited to have a roommate, and just a new environment. It'll be fun to decorate and spend all my money on house essentials.
I don't know about the rest of you that have graduated, but hearing about people coming back for school really makes me sad. Those four years went by so quickly, and now I find myself in a cubical all day long. I wish I could go back to school again!! I think it's hard too because Danny gets to go back, and I don't. He told me last night to join the girl's soccer team- I wish I could.

| Well, when there is nothing better to do at work, update the xanga. :) For the past couple days, i have been trying so hard to keep busy. They dont' really have a lot of things for me to do here yet, but hopes that things will pick up soon.
I had the great privilege of hosting Heidi the past couple evenings. Last night we had fun- got smoothies and just chilled. Then we had boys over! :) Danny suprised me by coming over, and Shaun randomly called Heidi, and so he came over. Fun times.
So I am going to be moving Aug 12th to Pincecrest Townhomes and this is sad, but I've already started packing. I am so excited, so I figured packing would be a good start. If I can do a box a night, it will be an easy move.
Oh! And this weekend is Ashley Hummer's wedding! I am so excited. Danny is going down there with me, which will be great. They are going to have a dance, and I'm really excited about that too! I haven't been to a wedding dance in YEARS! I hope I don't embarass myself. :)
I suppose I should attempt to be working on something productive. hehe | | |
| Half a year later.....
I am done with graduation, and now I'm staring the "real-world" in the face. Right now, my life doesn't seem like it's moving anywhere, but soon enough, I'll probably be on a roller coaster! I am leaving tomorrow to go to Washington DC for a job interview. I am nervous about it, but also very excited. Right now, I am not sure how I feel about the possibility of moving so far away. Some things I am really excited about, but others I'd rather not think about....like leaving Danny.
I feel like my body is divided in half- part of me is ready to take on the world, and part of me just wants to stay in Olathe where I feel comforatable. If I am honest with myself, I know moving away would be great for me, but it just would not be easy. but then, when is life easy?
I have barely flown more than I have in this one week alone! I flew to Ohio to Danny's house on Tues, and now I'm leaving on Sat. I had a good time in Lancaster, Ohio. We climbed Mount Pleasant, and got to see most of the town from the top. It was so fun! We also had dinner with two of Danny's best friends, and that was great. We ate at Buca's. yum! Yesterday, we trecked across the states from Ohio to Kansas....an 11 hour drive. It went suprisingly quickly.
I can not wait till my life has some schedule to it! I am a control freak, and need to know what is going to happen. :) Well, that is a brief explaination of what has been going on in the past week!
